Dreamer Kathleen says she wouldn't be the person she is today without the support of her sisters.
Who I Am
I'm a dreamer but also very realistic. I love to think creatively, while setting tangible goals. I would consider myself passionate, determined and outgoing. I love meeting new people and I'm always up for a new adventure!
Words to Live By
"There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world, because you realize there's so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on." - Zayn Malik
If I've learned anything in my time at NYU, it's to passionately pursue whatever it is that makes me happy. I have visions of big city living, but I'm not entirely sure what the future holds. It's somewhat of a life philosophy that I can't aim for success. I simply follow my heart and endlessly believe in it.
I've always taken pride in my sisters' dedication to Pi Beta Phi, while also passionately pursuing other dreams and activities that make their experience at NYU and in New York City meaningful and unique. I can wholeheartedly say that I would not be the friend, scholar, or leader I am today without the continued support and encouragement of my sisters. Through unforgettable memories, laughter, and deep friendships, these women have reminded me that their love and support is constant and always present.
Just be yourself! If you're anything else, you're cheating yourself of the best possible membership experience. You want to join an organization that loves you for you, not an image you've tried to uphold. Keep an open mind and ask questions. As equally as each organization is learning about you, recruitment is your opportunity to figure out where you feel most comfortable. Sisters are there to answer questions, so ask them!
